3 Simple Tips on Choosing a Restaurant for Your Wedding Reception

If you are going to get married soon, then deciding on the right venue can become quite a difficult decision to be made. Here are a few simple tips that may ease your way. Let’s take a look at them!

Space
First thing’s first. You need a place that can accommodate all your guests easily. This is why your chosen restaurant should have the adequate size required. There is nothing more uncomfortable than squeezing too many people into too little space. Secondly, the style. Does it have the look and feel you want, or is it neutral enough so that you can decorate it to get what you want? Sometimes you can custom design a restaurant to your exact liking for less than a traditional wedding reception hall will charge.

Experience
If you are looking for one of the best Financial District restaurants as your venue, then seek out a restaurant that has years of experience in the industry. The more the experience, the better the chances of your wedding reception becoming a hit; the staff will be accustomed to catering guests for such a function, which is a different skill set from serving in an open restaurant and owners that are established in the neighborhood can procure last minute items, if needed.

Menu
There is no denying the fact that choosing an American Bar& Grill Restaurant could be a fun idea any function. But, make sure that it has good reviews for the quality of its food. Once you’ve locked down the venue plan the menu in accordance with the style of the venue. For example, if you're in a wooded pub it’s not the best idea to be serving Italian or Chinese. Coordinate the menu with the venue so there is a sense of consistency.

Any restaurant you choose can be a great reception venue. What makes an event great is adequate space, good vibe, terrific quality food -- whether your theme is BBQ grill and hot dogs, upscale fish and Champagne, or any other ethnic cuisine. They key is to coordinate the cuisine with the venue so there is continuity.

In the end, enough space, great food, attentive service, and good music = great event.

3 Tips on Locating a Good Bar in the Financial District NYC

Having a good experience at a bar isn’t difficult. Finding a good bar is a bit more so. However, it really comes down to a few simple things: good energy, comfortable space, and good quality. Certainly location is a plus if it in close proximity to your home or work. But even if it’s not, the right place is worth traveling to.

Tip #1 – The Immediate Impact

The financial district bars are plentiful. Finding the one that is right for you simply means you’ve found a place where you have a good time. There are pubs, bistros, wine bars, patio bars. The moment you enter one of the financial district bars you get a sense of the place in an instant. It grabs you or it doesn’t. If it does then it will likely be a go to place for you for some time. If not, don’t despair, like certain foods or drinks, there are some places that you have to acquire a taste for.  Finding that right place is about the people -- are they open and friendly? The space -- is it comfortable? The vibe -- is there good music? The drinks -- are they varied and priced right?

Tip #2 – How’s the Atmosphere?

Is it a happy place, or is everyone face down in their drink sulking about their horrible day?  I don’t know about you, but when I head out to a bar after a long day, I choose one or two types. Either I want a happy hour filled with happy people, good music and good vibes. Or, I want a quiet low-key place to unwind. Either or they needn’t have dull moods. Even a low-key place can still be cheery and uplifting.

Tip #3 – No Compromises on Food

Atmosphere plays a big part in the bar but don’t ignore the quality of food. Check their Dept of Health rating, and then check user reviews. It needn’t be the best food in town, but it does need to be good experience.
